The faster you press, the harder the shot will be. Pull back the stick, then press it forward to make the shot. This will take you to the cue stick portion of the shot. Aim the cue ball toward the ball you'd like to hit, and at the angle you want to hit it. If you end up putting the cue ball in the hole during the shot, you will lose at this point. When all of the balls of one pattern are put in, you must put in the eight ball.
The pool game is 8 ball (not 9 ball), meaning that the player that puts a certain pattern in first has to go after and sink balls of that same pattern (stripes or solids).
